Huh? I was talking about the box in the front of the bed, a cut-through is when you cut out the back cab wall and front of the bed, put a "gasket" inbetween the cab wall and front of the bed to connect & seal it.

Re: Post Your 73-80 Truck Pics

Damn that a shame for what happened to the primer black truck. Looked to be one very fun ride.

Here are my trucks both are 1986 trucks, The black one was my first truck that later got parted out after replacing motor and transmission. Rear went out and looked for one and found the brown one and for 300 bucks that was the cost of a new rear.

The black truck before dismantle:

Heres the truck oafter dismantle but not completely ended up just being a frame help out alot of people tho was a pritty nice truck.

And now the brown truck And it engine I spent another 1300 in motor and transmission casue when i got it she had no drive train just the rear. Motors from the black truck after being redone and tranny is a rebuilt b&m transmission.

Re: Post Your 73-80 Truck Pics

Here are my two trucks, both are 2wd 3/4 ton longbed from the city of Forth Worth that were bought at auctions a year apart. One is a V8-350 and the other is a L6-292. The 1979 will replace my 1978 since I want a V8 for more availability of engine mods.

1978 C20 2wd L6-292 longbed that I bought last year in July and restored.

1979 C20 2wd V8-350 longbed that I bought last month and will soon restore.

I don't know, it was there when I bought it. That center folds down and there's wood trim cubby with sliding lid and 2 cup holders on top of it! However, it feels like I'm sitting on top of the steering wheel and can't get far enough away from it ( I'm claustrophobic kinda ) . I'm thinking about yanking it all out, painting the truck forest green, and putting in the factory green I got from an 81 GMC. If I do, this seat setup will go up for sale (Here).
