1970 C10 Laying Frame with Trailing Arms and mounting my bags

Hi guys, so I picked up a frame to work on and get all cleaned and prepped to swap my cab and drivetrain over too. I figured on the front end I'll go with a Porterbuilt Stage 3 so I can lay frame. For the rear I can't really afford to go 4 link or with the Stage 3 from Porterbuilt. I was thinking of just running a bigger notch to clear the trailing arms or notching the frame where they contact. Does anyone have pictures of that? And I was also looking at where to mount my bags. I see tons of rides with them moved forward on the trailing arms, I don't mind doing that either but I also see KP has a set of mounts that's weld onto the rear end. Would that be more beneficial to have my bags inboard and on the axle?

Bump... Anyone?

I was researching and looking, I'm thinking I'd mount my bags inboard on the axle with a bridge for the upper mounts, and install the rears on a rear bridge rail behind the axle, or move them outside the frame rails so I'd have space for a watts link. Does this sound like a realistic setup for laying frame? I'm going to have my notch long enough to clear the frame

You can look at the stuff from chopping block on Pro performance (a vendor here) as an option and for design ideas for the back. I would build trailing arms with out the tip in the back that the stock arms have. Then flip the front brackets to help the geometry. Having the bags back by the axles is best.

Factory T/A's w/the front mounts flipped 180° & bags mounted on top of the rear end housing w/a bridge connected to the stepped frame section would work. A Watts or Panhard bar will work for centering. The Watts is more work but will help keep it centered better.
