Lowering kits

I'm a long time board member but have been out of my Chevy truck passion for a while. Just spent an hour searching boards for my own answer and failed. Hoping 2021 to get back to a project or 2. Year old news but just read ECE is gone. What has best lowering kits for the 68-72 1/2 tons rear coil spring) that might be comparable to complete, good customer service, etc?

Probably in 2/4 - 3/5 drop range.

Glad to be back.

Re: Lowering kits

I did a 2.5/4 on mine and sort of put my own together. Out back I installed Mcgaughys 4" progressive rate drop springs and adjustable trac bar. In the front I went back with stock replacement springs and CPP 2.5" drop spindles. This lets me keep stock shocks up front and all steering geometry factory for the most part. Worked perfect for me since I wanted to do a disc brake conversion on front anyway.

My truck is still a few months short of road worthy so I cannot give you feedback on the ride or drive quality but I am happy with the stance.

Re: Lowering kits

Thanks, glad to have a chance to be back. Time will tell how successful I will be at focus. As with many of us, life happens and lots going on. I do feel age factoring in more. Coming up on 20 yrs on these boards!
