1969 Front Brake hoses

Can anyone show some pictures of how your front brake lines and hoses are plumbed? Also how the front brake hoses are secured to the frame, with clips? or large nuts?

No, I swapped a 1971 disc brake axle in. I can't seem to find any good pictures of how the brake hoses are supposed to be mounted to the frame or how the lines are supposed to be run.

Re: 1969 Front Brake hoses

Lines go through the frame and are mounted with a threaded sheet metal nut. Takes a 15/16 socket to fit the nut---3/8'' drive is preferred as getting a 1/2'' ratchet up in there is a pain. Sorry, don't have any pictures. It would also matter whether or not you have the OE lines as the mounting may be different for say a braided stainless

Factory hole if I remember correctly the hole is somewhat D shaped. Later model square bodies did a stand off bracket for the mounting and just the hard line coming through the hole

I thought the brake line was installed in this picture, but it goes to the hole you see behind the snubber bracket on the frame. The hard line connects inside the frame to the mounted hose.
