Got a look at the hardware in my foot today. Had surgery last month to fuse the knuckle in the big toe. 2 more weeks in the boot for a total of 8 weeks without driving my Truck

Re: New Hardware

First 2 days were very painful then it eased up. I’m 6 weeks in with 2 more to go and NO pain at all. Can’t wait to get back to banging gears

Re: New Hardware

Looks good. As long as you’re not overweight the hardware will hold and you’ll be good to go.

Re: New Hardware

I bet you do have the itch to drive again. My neighbor got tramples by a horse and got pins put in her ankle. 8 weeks in the wheel chair, 2 in a walker, then a few more weeks in the boot. She was miserable the entire time. She also caught a hoof to the face so she looked like she got the crap beat out of her. Broken nose and 2 black eyes.

Hopefully this will solve your problem!
I have a screw about like that that was removed last April when I had a giant bunion removed. The screw was put in about '05 and was backing out.

Is that horse now named Little Friskies and Old Gluepot?

Re: New Hardware

.

Amazing to me how the new hardware looks like run-of-the-mill plumbers tape and wood screws!

Stuff is probably made of titanium though.

“Screw backing out”. Not what I want to hear

Indeed. It would appear that yours is better attached. FWIW the other two were OK.

Re: New Hardware

I'm sure nowadays the doctor uses red or blue loctite to keep them from backing out. These are modern times. I'm glad you're on the mend.

Glad you're mending. Gout, break it, or just disintegrating?
