the clutch linkage was missing a return spring and had some wrong linkage, sorted through my spare parts to get it working a lot better but still need to work out some more kinks with it.

Re: it's a boy

you have to drill out the rivets to get it apart
Name: IMG_2787.jpg
Views: 590
Size: 44.5 KB
as you can see the repro rivets look like .... well you know
Name: IMG_2788.JPG
Views: 589
Size: 83.0 KB
the hole for the rivets are counter sunk so I used button head allen # 40 with nuts, they give the same look as the correct rivets
Name: IMG_2789.JPG
Views: 590
Size: 72.3 KB
you have to clearance the hood for the nuts

remember to change the 1157 bulb to amber

time to do something with the bed
Name: IMG_2797.jpg

went a different route on this one, I used diesel fuel cut with marine 2 stroke oil to dirty it
Name: IMG_2792.jpg
Views: 580
Size: 87.9 KB
all need now is for the sun to bleach it
Name: IMG_2798.jpg

this is the fourth bed that I have done and this one was the hardest, every nut and bolt was frozen and most of the metal strips were bent and twisted

Your garage is sooo cool.
The bed looks great too along with the new lenses.

The first one live through both hurricane Irene and Isabel. I would recommend to upgrade to the heavy ply cover.

I wasn't sure if I would like so just thought I would try and see. I have seen the old style fog lights back in the grill on a GMC that looked good.
