55-59 rear fuel tank

I’ve tried to find the answer to my question from searching. But I’m sorry I can’t seem to find it. I’m wanting to relocate my fuel tank to the rear. I’m running a Chevy 350 with a edelbrock pro flo fuel injection kit on it. What would be the best tank for that. I’ve heard the UT-N universal tank and also the universal mustang tank both from Tanks Inc. please let me know what you guys would do. Thank you

Couple of questions. What is your budget? Where do you want the filler neck to be, in the bed or? Are you going to use an in-tank pump or external?

Well I would like to stay as cheap as possible, but I don’t want junk. The universal tank and intank pump and sending unit from tanksinc was $525 including shipping. And I’m fine with the bed fill

this is what i'm using: about $120 shipped - it is for a blazer

i am setting my truck up with a mechanical pump, but i'll bet you can find an in-tank pump/fuel level sender assembly that fits that tank.

I looked at those but they aren’t baffled for fuel injection. I think I’m going to get the Holley sniper series tanks.

This is the same tank I am using. You can get it in 25-31 gal. Hard to beat for the price.

^^^ This is what I did. Not cheap but reliable. My one b!tch about it is that where they locate the filler hole would have had the fill hit exactly in the. middle of one of the stock bed metal strips. I didn't ant that so we welded shut the hole it came with and moved it over.

You dont need a baffled tank if you buy one of these in tank pumps.
