I sold one of my projects "68 Second Chance" which allowed me to buy three more trucks since Covid19 started. The 71 is a nice driving truck that had now rust. However at some point in its life I would imagine it had some front end damage, so they replaced with a 69 front clip sheet metal and beat up 71 grill. I am reworking all the sheet metal so it can be painted Ochre again and be a solid rust free truck.

72 K20 Suburban Window Sticker/Owner Info
As I gathered all my 72 truck literature, collected over 25 years, I ran across a group of ownership info on a 1972 K20 Suburban Vin# CKE262F178617 sold at Central Chevrolet in Fremont, CA. The warranty book lists the original owner as William "B" Andrade of Castro Valley, CA. It was somewhat unique as a two tone white/light yellow, Custom Deluxe with Rear Air...
I offer this info FREE to the current owner if any one on the board owns it or knows who owns it. Long shot, but would be neat to get back in the vehicle. I will be listing the other 72 literature in the near future. Thanks for looking and any leads would be appreciated. Thanks, Dan |

That color is all about 1972 more than any other color and I can still see my self in one in 1972 with a fallstaff beer ball on the front seat driving around looking for girls not having a smart phone but a 8 track playing stairway to heaven u missed mllinials sorry
