Help identifying Frankenstein!

So I bought this '75' c10. It has a vin in the door (stuck on though, not riveted) with a matching sticker in the glove box that isn't attached. The front end is definitely a 89-91 blazer, but I'm trying to ID the cab and frame years. I've attached a pic of the number on the passenger frame rail - cannot find a way to decode this. I think it says C6Z10349, you can see it in the pic.

Cab has a floor high beams switch and glass fuses. Tray has gas doors. Dash is later model not sure what. A real mix!

I've never seen numbers in that spot of the chassis before. There is supposedly a partial VIN stamped into the top flange of the passenger side rail, either under the back edge of the cab, or between the cab and the bed. The number sequence you posted doesn't have the six-digit serial number that a VIN should end with.

Take photos of the front frame horns, where the bumper attaches. Unless they've been modified, the frame horns will change shape depending on which side of the 1980/81 year split the chassis is from. If the horns are neatly rounded, the chassis is from 73-80. If the horns are chopped off at an angle, the chassis is from 81-87, or has been modified.

Added a few pics, dash I think is 86ish but not too bothered by that as can replace later. I'm in Kapiti on the coast, nice part of the world!

Unfortunately I don't have the space to take body parts off to get to the things you want to see, I could potentially pull the bumper off for the horns tomorrow and have a look. Don't suppose there are any visible indicators? Even year ranges would be good.

I'm planning on swapping the front clip back to a 75, and will be getting carpets for the cab so want to be sure of the frame and cab before I buy parts.

The washer pump/tank combo is either aftermarket or from a later vehicle. Early 90's I think. I have them installed on my two trucks, 75 C10 and 84 CUCV as an upgrade to the pump/wiper motor OEM combo. Saw them during a Pull-a-Part run. There were a few years where they would mount where the older OEM washer tank mounted. Even later years started being mounted on the inner fender.

Ok can you look at the cowl hinge seal does the screws look like the be taken out. if there no cuts weld section, in there cab there. take the dash out or pop up take a look driver side 2-3" @ wind shield vin the there or was. It would be 81-83. They reused the 75 fuse box, the mater 79 older or a wrong replacement, or use from the 75. The frame @bumper mounts will tell you the tail of the frame or the cradle 73-80 thicker heaver one, 81-87 cradle lighter not as heavy duty. I wouldn't be too quick to convert the nose back to 75, unless you seriously prefer that style. I'm not convinced that's even a 1975 cab.

C = Chevrolet

6 = 1976

Z = Fremont assembly plant

10349 = sequential portion of VIN (should be 103419; you missed the 1 in front of the 9 when posting)

On my dad's 75 c15, the stamp you listed is located farther back on the frame, on the slope before the control arm.

There's also a date stamped on the passenger side of the frame, farther back near the gas tank. His is 12-6-74, while the other stamp is T5... (GMC 75).

Have you checked for a VIN tag riveted to the top of the dash near the bottom of the windshield?
