Newly installed Holley Sniper EFI, only getting 60% throttle

Just wrapped up my Sniper install but I can only get up to 60% throttle open. I'm not sure of the history of my truck, I don't know if the linkage has been changed from stock or what so I'll attach a photo.

Did the carb you took off get more than 60%?

I mean, it didn't have a handy computer screen to tell me but it definitely felt like it opened more.

You may need to get an adjustable mount for the throttle cable. Is there another spot on the sniper linkage that may give you more travel?

It would appear that there is more adjustment on the link at the back of the throttle linkage. Have someone hold the pedal all the way down (or put a weight on it to hold it). Remove the linkage from the lever at the firewall and adjust the nut so that the throttle is all the way open. Then put it all back together.

It looks like you have the rod adjusted up quite a bit. Is it possible the end of the rod is hitting the firewall?

You could be right. It looks like maybe there's a divot in the paint where the rod hit?

I think you call it Tdangle. Reverse the rod. Then be sure the overhang doesn't hang up on the bottom of the air cleaner.

Also check on some grommets for the spark plug wires,if you get a rub there, probably not good
