Need your opinion please!
Hi guys you are always a wealth of knowledge and help me out and I have an opinion question for you guys. I have limited space and so I need to figure out which of two vehicles I should get. If I had the space I’d get both but I don’t so have to pick one. The first choice is a 1988 Caprice Wagon with a Chevy 350 that’s is rebuilt and not original to the car it was a 307. The body is good and all the electrical works. And I don’t care about the engine because it would get a gm lt4 if I get that. Or a 1991 dodge half ton short bed v6, and it will get a hellcat engine. And my goal is to turn either car into a cruiser and autocross vehicle. So which do you think would be harder to find later? And cooler to customize?
Thanks for your input in advance |

See me too something about distorting a super car or a C8 corvette in a wagon (a total mom car) that makes it way more fun lol

As a go-fast cruiser, you will be happier with the wagon.

Re: Need your opinion please!
I'm 100% willing to bet that it was a 305. The 307 (although still a turd) was eliminated long before that wagon ever drew a breath.
My choice would be the wagon as well.

I like trucks.
I know a guy that swapped a hot rodded Cummins I to a short bed regular cab 2wd dodge, that thing is a hoot. Save the Dodge. Caprice wagon? That thing would make an awesome derby car, maybe bump-to-pass

The longroofs are getting harder to find, It took me a long time to find mine. My vote is for the wagon, I have no idea what autocross even is.

Re: Need your opinion please!
Does it have to be one or the other? Can't you just go out and get something better for all that? I drove a friend's regular cab 5spd Sonoma with some suspension work and that thing was like driving a go cart compared to my trucks. I'd like one like that.
If that's too mild, the same friend built another Sonoma. Not a Syclone but AWD w/LS power. It's not S-series 4wd. He used some other GM vehicle awd system. It sits low.
