Thanks Vern, but the deicer I was referring to is the salt and mag chloride they put on the roads these days. That crap eats the heck out of everything that isn't plastic......so pretty much all of an old Chevy. I wish they would have just kept using sand/gravel.

Well I did do something to the Burb today. I greased the front end and the u-joints.....it was a little overdue.

I agree, sand and salt would save us all.
Today I started up my truck and let her run for about 10 minutes. Looked at it, planning, planning and more planning.
