As you can see at the pictures, I need a right bracket that it should be at the carb. both intake and carb are Edelbrock.

Go to Bow Tie Overdrive. They'll have the adapters that you need. That's where I originally got mine. The site has a ton of information that you may find interesting and informative. Because the TV cable has to be correctly adjusted or you'll ruin the transmission.

Re: 700r4 transmission braket

That Jegs bracket will hold the cable body back behind the carb, but it is NOT the bracket for the carb.

Go to BowTie Overdrives and look for the Edelbrock 1406 throttle linkage TV cable carb bracket.
It sandwiches around the Edelbrock throttle linkage and is adjustable for shift firmness.

Make sure you follow the BowTie instructions on how to adjust your TV cable once you have the bracket in place at the carb, and the cable properly hooked to it. Your transmission will last about 30 minutes WITHOUT that cable hooked up properly and adjusted properly.

The Jegs link is for the TV cable bracket for Edelbrock carbs, including 1406. Scroll down and it also list "related parts" which include a TV cable and adapter to the carb lever if needed

or you can buy the BTO "kit"

http://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/cata...php?ITEMID=213

Pheonix Transmission also makes a kit
