Re: Tami's 51 build
I dig how subtle the flames are. They are not nearly as in your face like I thought they might be. Nicely done Skip

Re: Tami's 51 build
I am thinking of doing something like that on my 57. possibly some ghost flames with a small haligan subtly shaded in on a corner, or possibly something else to denote the firefighter career.
would like to see the pics in the sun, should look awesome. |

Re: Tami's 51 build
Decided to get carried away..started boxing the frame, ordered a welder series triangulate four link, ran into a few issues, nothing that cant be fixed , but in hindsight it would have been better to not have the front lower brackets welded beforehand, the issue is the frame is not parrallel to the rear, so the bracket needs to be cut at an angle so the arms pivot parallel t9 the rear, like i said if the lower eyes were loose, i could have simply rotated them square and welded them.

Re: Tami's 51 build
Working on the four link, proved to be a pain in the ass to get lined up. Used a welder series kit, but since my original frame is angled, i had to trim the already welded brackets in the kit, i would have been better off ordering only the rear brackets and tube ends welded, Other than that it wasnt bad..
