1970 C/10 Gas Tank Filler Neck Grommet

I've looked around on the forum and it seems that Wes at Classic Heartbeat has the best grommet but I'm confused since there appears to be two different neck diameters. When I go to the Classic Heartbeat website I only see one listed, ’67-’70 / ’69-’72 Gas Tank Filler Neck Grommet (Lifetime Warranty).

Thanks

Re: 1970 C/10 Gas Tank Filler Neck Grommet

GMC Paul has some information about the 2 different sizes. 71-72 have skinnier necks apparently.

The neck on my 1969 pickup's tank is 2-3/16" where it goes through the grommet.

Re: 1970 C/10 Gas Tank Filler Neck Grommet

We have both styles of the made in the U.S.A. new repro gas tank neck grommets available/pictured in the below thread, there are also some GM NOS 2" neck grommets listed too. If interested have a look at the below linked f/s thread, Mel
