I found some seats at the junk yard this weekend and deciced to get them, and some seatbelts, wish the belts were blue, oh well.

That looks good in there. I had the same in my 70 (I went full bench now) and the belts. They are a great and very comfortable combo!!

Those look nice in there. If only there was a way to cover the plastic at the bottom.

1) Seats are out of a 88 extended cab.
2) I just drilled a 1/2" hole and used a backer plate for the upper seatbelt bracket.
3) On the bottom of the seat is the steel support, not plastic, and I can come up with a cover to close the hole if needed.

Those look good. Those '88 and up seats are pretty comfy.

Could you elaborate some more on the shoulder belt mount near the door frame? How did you get a backer plate behind the interior sheetmetal? I've been wanting to do this on my '66, but have yet to figure it out, other than cutting and welding.

I used a 7/16" bolt, put the bolt thru the seatbelt bracket, put a nut on just tight enough to let the bracket swing loose, then a flat washer. put that assemble thru the drilled hole, reached up the inside wall, added a backer plate, flat washer, lock washer, and nut.
Will this be strong enough in an acident, only one way too tell, and I dont plan on finding out.

Thanks. That makes sense. I thought the attachment point was a lot farther up in the corner and just couldn't figure out how you got it there. Now i need to find some seats.

Im 5'-11", and I went 3'-0" from the floor and I could just reach where I needed to. If you are taller you might want to go alittle higher.
