Congrats, great find. I'm also a huge fan of the K20 with cab lights. Just looks right. . Don't see many in that color combo either.

Re: Picked up a cheyenne k20

Thanks everybody.
I plan to maintain the green and white paint on it until i can afford to have it repainted, again with its original green anf white color. I plan to maintain a lot of oem style, but with a little lift with wheel and tire.

If the 350 runs, itll stay until it dies, if its bad, i would like to dress a 454 up era correct like a 402 and put it in.

I plan to tow a car trailer when needed with other trucks etc on it.

Nice truck! Gonna be a fun project!

I'm biased towards the K20, and I'm jealous of those cab lights!

Re: Picked up a cheyenne k20

Beautiful truck.
Is that lifted or stock? Tire size?

I want to lift, but am just looking around at the moment.
I dont want to go too high to tow another vehicle or camper trailer, and too high to easily get an atv in the bed.

It's stock with 265/75/16 (about 31 1/2 inches high). This truck appears to have spent it's life carrying a truck camper, and the stock leafs are a little tired. More than likely I'll have new springs and shocks on it this summer with no more than 2"-2.5" of lift. I'm going to get a set of white steelies and run either 285 or 295/75 16's on them.

You've got some great options on that truck. Mine was a typical Montana purchase- pretty spartan on creature comforts. It's got the heavy rear spring option- and it's ROUGH without a load, lol.
