What size fuel line from sending unit?

Getting ready to order a new gas tank and fuel sending unit but I don't know the proper sending unit fuel line size. The truck came standard with the big 6 cyl and was a cst pkg with the big window option and auto trans. Any suggestions on the proper fitment? Oops, it's a 67 GMC.

Measure the size of the line from the tank to the pump. Its either 5/16 or 3-8".
