2 parter! Where did my power brakes go?
First Q- I recently removed the engine from my truck to re-seal it and change a torque convertor. Everything went back together fine, only to find out I have no power brakes. Nothing in the brake system was touched while the engine was out. I confirmed vaccum to booster. So, I threw a new booster at it. Still no power brakes. 1 way valve works good too. Where could my power have gone?
Second Q, whats the box that attaches to the brake rod coming from the booster, goes where the pedal meets the rod? Brake light switch?

Re: 2 parter! Where did my power brakes go?
The only thing I can think of is the ABS module or the Master cylinder it self. Both of those are knownweak spots in these year trucks.
Since I no longer have one to crawl and look at I cannot visualize the second question.
