Door Glass on a 61

I plan to replace the door glass I have with new glass. I see the kits of 4 tinted windows for a couple hundred dollars.

Did anyone try it? Did you have to reuse the old track / metal where the window slides on the rollers / run channel?

My original glass came loose after 50+ years, but I was able to re use everything. If you can, pull the old glass first, inspect the metal parts, then determine if they are reusable or not. If they aren't heavily rusted, you can just put the new glass in the original metal parts

If the glass is framed, you will want to buy new barrel nuts in advance.

Good advice, I am going with the glass that is not framed. The ones I took out were framed & heavy. This is a pulling truck, so every lb. saved matters.
