69 C10 SWB Big Block "Shop Truck"

SOLD!!!

1969 C10 factory short bed 307, 3 speed truck. Sitting on the original frame that has been stripped and painted. (frame off build) Everything that went back on was new or rebuilt to new or better specs, except the body. I was going for the "Shop Truck" look and even left the original company logo on the truck for a while. No worries about where you park this machine!

Drivetrain: 454 with Eagle 496 balanced rotating assembly. 10.2:1 compression with forged Mahle pistons. Eagle I beam rods. King bearings and Mahle file fit rings. Comp cams 286H-10 and lifters, Summit double roller timing chain. Speedmaster 119cc chamber, 305cc intake aluminum heads, ARP head studs. Melling HV oil pump and high flow pickup. Speedmaster DNA full roller rockers. Trickflow pushrods. Weiand intake. Holley 850cfm carb, Carter Street mechanical fuel pump. MSD 6A box, distributor and adjustable timing controls system. Summit chrome gear drive starter. GMPP serpentine belt system. Hooker 2455 Chevelle headers with custom bend 2.5” exhaust and Summit welded mufflers. Rebuilt 71 Chevelle TH400 with B&M Torkmaster 2200 stall. Transdapt universal trans crossmember. 72 C10 12 bolt, Detroit/Eaton posi, Richmond bearing set, Ten Factory axles. GM 3.07 gear set. Custom Alumnium driveshaft with 1330 joints and new yokes front and rear. 1972 Big Block C10 engine mounts with poly inserts. Coldcase aluminum radiator and dual electric fan kit.

Chassis: 72 C10 front crossmember. Powerstop drilled and slotted front rotors. Rebuilt upper and lower control arms. Beltech 3” drop spindles. CPP drop springs, 2” front & 4” rear. CPP solid front bar. CPP adjustable rear track bar. KYB Excel-G front and rear shocks. CPP rear shock relocation kit. JEGS brake booster and Master cylinder kit. Copper-Nickel custom brake lines and new hoses. All new inner and outer tie rods and adjuster sleeves, Idler and Pitman arms. NAPA front calipers, rear wheel cylinders, brake hardware kits and drums. NAPA steering gear. Poly busing kit in rear trailing arms. 15x7 front and 15x8 rear rally wheels. Mastercraft P235/70-15 fronts and P275/60-15 rears

Body: Factory rusty sheet metal basically untouched sitting on factory frame that was stripped and painted. New rubber cab mounts with belt and cab bolt kit. Trailing arm crossmember modified for exhaust to pass thru. Van tilt column rebuilt with new turn signal switch, neutral switch and Grant wheel (needs horn wire to button) Modified shift linkage from 80s C10 to clear exhaust. Cleaned and rewrapped factory wiring harness. New lights front and rear, even backup lamps work. New blower motor, heater core, defroster ducts and outlets. Rebuilt heater controls. New ignition switch. New driver and passenger window regulators (passenger not installed). Rebuilt cluster with working oil, temp, fuel gauge and correct reading speedo. New sender in tank and new 3/8” metal lines. Uncut dash and working aftermarket radio with 2 speakers in factory dash. Factory seat and seatbelts. Nice original visors and dash pad.

There are a lot of little things I didn't put in, but I've touched every nut and bolt on this thing. I have other projects I'd like to focus on right now. If it doesn't sell, it can continue to sit and one day I'll give it some better sheetmetal. I also have a decent stepside bed in pieces, 2 more doors and a rear roll pan that could be sold with the truck. I'm not really interested in straight up trades but may consider one with some cash. Price is $15,000.

Fly in and drive it home! Probably only take about $1200 in fuel.

The new owner drive in last night with his wife and then he drove the truck back 3 hours. He said he was still happy after that too! 🤣
