help needed with new engine/parts selection...

Well, my orginal motor in my 69 c10 had some cylinder damage.

I wanted overdrive so my mechanics friend found a 350 engine from a 1980's vehicle and the same auto dismantling yard found me a 700r4

My mechanic calls when the motor arrives at his place, he says you're not gonna believe this, I opened up the motor and it looks almost new, he says he'd be surprised if it has 5, 000 miles on it.someone must have done a motor swap and wrecked the car soon after

My mechanic says he believes its a gen1 vortec crate motor??

I want to order an aluminum edelbrock performer intake for it but don't know which one is the correct one.

Also my long tube dynomax headers didn't work. Mechanic just called and has the motor in, and tried mounting them.

Is there a particular style or brand that will best work on my 1969 c10

Was out near my shed and realized I had this bassani x pipe off an old mustang

Could an exhaust shop just cut off the excess and weld up new pipe to the x pipe on my truck??
