Sad and completely unnecessary. However, Staff Sgt Knauss and the others who died did so in the service of their country and in keeping their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. My deepest sympathies and respect to their families.

RIP Staff Sgt. Knauss. What a terrible, unnecessary tragedy. God bless him and his family.

I cannot comprehend the blatant incompetence and decision making in this plan of withdrawing from Afghanistan. I won't be political here but oh my gosh the collective here would/did have brainstormed this and had a much better outcome. God Bless the fallen and those that serve.....

Prayers for this young soldier, his family, and friends.

Those in charge don't have what it takes to shine the boots of the 13 lost soldiers, much less be making decisions.
