Six cyl to v8 swap

What if any changes will need to be made to the wiring harness ? I have a 68 GMC 250 six cyl and want to change to 350 with hei . thanks

The HEI should be feed directly from the ignition switch...The fuse box has marked non fused ign terminals so you can wire it direct. Some say to use a #10 wire because the HEI can in theory draw 20 amps..... I have done it with a 10 and 14 wire and never noticed any difference....
