This latest Chalet at the Bring a Trailer auction is #0579, built in 8/76.

Meanwhile, I can offer updates of several of the rigs seen in previous posts within this particular thread.

- The mega-lift Chalet #0251 in posts 16 & 19 is seen for sale in a current San Diego Craigslist ad, where the seller has dropped its prices at least 3 times by multi-thousand dollar increments going back to last August.
- Chalet #1460 in post #39 is back for sale again in Utah by either the same owner - unsold after all this time - or by the next owner/flipper after him.
- Chalet #1203 in post #49, with its non-original refurbished interior and glued-down roof went unsold with 4 price drops for the next 2 years to half its original asking price, then ended up in CA with a $4 grand price hike to $9500 with no change to its condition, and then the seller lucked out on eBay by selling it for over $20 grand to an apparently very unsuspecting bidder who had no idea the interior was non-original or that the roof was non-operable.
- Chalet #1426 in posts 53 & 54 was bizarrely demanded to be repainted incorrectly by a billionaire (so I'm told) owner of a classic car restoration shop/dealership last June and then offered for $94,000, but in an online bid auction in Sept, it only got to $30,000.
- Chalet #1221 in post #73 is still available through the consignment seller at $72,900, but in that classic car dealer's second attempt to bid-auction it on eBay for the owner, the bidding topped out at $35,100, which is a fairly good indication that the owner needs to scale way back on his value expectations.

Meanwhile, not mentioned in this thread but instead mentioned here at 67-72Chev in this thread, post #14 is the Chalet #0058 that popped up in Texas after its brief bit of fame at the 2009 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. It reappeared at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction just over two weeks ago in pretty much the same condition as it was 13 years ago (but with its recently buckled hood repaired), and the top bid was $30,000 (+$3 grand in commissions), which arguably sets the benchmark for the relative values of these things, somewhat similar to what the above BaT auction did. However, it reappeared just days ago in a Mankato MN classic car dealership ….. at just short of double the price.
