Re: MY little Project....

hey I was just looking at 502's build and got thinking about your springs when I spoted this picture

then yours

your front spring eye dosnt look as if its up as high as your and the arc almost looks tighter (I'm guessing that how I want to explane it) or maybe I'm just seeing things but I see your shocks are both to the front as were mine and 502's have one going each way

What he means is when you took that many leaf out and you lowered it. Did you check you pinion angle? Better check before you start blowin u joints. You use a wedge to correct this, which is the easy way.

You definitely have a different spring pack! Here is a good side pic of mine after lowering. You can see that I had no choice but to remove the overload spring stop pads that were on the frame because the leafs would have been touching yet you look at yours and you have tons of clearance. If I was you I would be looking to replace the spring pack with a stock c30 pack and that thing will come down quite a bit more!

Re: MY little Project....

Got a new updated list to tackle:

-Put a new hangger breaing
-Fix gas tank (new sending unit)
-hitch
-fix the Hydro boost (it's leaking some where might throw a new steering box also.)
-fix leaky valve cover
-fix leaky oil pan
-fix oil press guge
-fix dash lights (they majically all came back on while driving?)
-Get stock C35 rear leaf packs (has old tow truck ones raises the back up about 2 inches more than it should be)
-mabye while the motors apart paint and clean it up a little.

Think thats it.

That's a decent list! One step at a time and you will be amazed at how quick it moves!
