Question about lowering my truck

I've been thinking for a while now about lowering my truck some - probably with drop springs and leaving the two inch blocks in place. With these 15" rallye wheels I can see that I am in a "danger zone" situation the way my hardware rests below the wheel rims in the back. Will drop springs make this problem worse by lowering the trailing arms further? The suspension is all courtesy of the previous owner. Thank you.

Re: Question about lowering my truck

No drop springs on the rear won't affect the scrub line. More spacer blocks will.

Re: Question about lowering my truck

Hi Ned, Shorter springs won't make trailing arms any lower, just the frame and body! Show us Your truck as it sits now!

Re: Question about lowering my truck

What looks scary are the homemade blocks and scrap metal stacked in there. You might want to replace all that with a solid 2 inch block and new u-bolts. Unless you have 2 flat tires at the same it won't scrape the road.
