1969 Doors

Greetings,

I just saw a listing on Craigslist for doors. He said they are from 67 to 72. Are the doors the same for all those years? Here is a link to the listing. What would be a fair price for them if they fit?

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/pts...299795747.html

Thanks,

RR

1967-71 door shells are the same. Minor changes were made in 1972, but will still physically bolt on the cab.

Re: 1969 Doors

I believe 1967 doors are slightly different than 68-71 due to the angle of the screws that attach the exterior door handles.

Re: 1969 Doors

I have a 69 drivers door on my 67. I don't think I had any unusual fitment issues. I got lucky...the 69 door was 503 light green and even had the same rust streaks from the west coast jr. mirrors.

Re: 1969 Doors

A 67 door will fit, you will need a 67 exterior handle on it. 72 doors will fit also but have an extra screw near the top in side and require different door panels, and regulators.

It's in Mendocino County... one wrong turn off the beaten path and you will never be heard/seen again.

I would love to, but my kid said no. I was thinking at least the doors to have in case his are bad, but he has no interest. I am thinking of offering 100 bucks each. Does that sound about right? If I don't use them I am sure I can find somebody to use them. LOL. His aren't that bad though, at least from what I can see.

That is true. Turns out I have 67 on the passenger side and a later one on the driver side. Getting a non-67 door handle to bolt on to the 67 door is weird but possible.

Re: 1969 Doors

Rust free door around here go for $500.00 each , That truck had turbine wheels on it , I bought a truck like that a few years ago for $500.00 for all of it , the doors are on one of my 67's . The guy I bought it from called me back about 6 months later wanting to buy it back because none of his new repop parts fit . if you've got one of these trucks and find good rust free parts BUY EM !
