Post think I found a 383...

just ran across a 3970010 block..."350" it has an externially balenced harmonic balencer and flywheel it has camel hump 291 heads...performer intake..its on a stand and i believe it has a huge cam, by how far the valves compress...going to ask the guy if i can pull the heads, to check bore and stroke..guess i could pull the oil pan instead...oh yea..its 400 bucks..i figure the heads are worth that..let me know what u think.

thanks
Jim

Just go get the thing. THEN figure what you have. You know it's not a 307 or a 305, so go get it. You can't go wrong if you know the sum of the parts.
