61 C10 cab on a 63 frame

Hi
I am restoring a 1963 C10 truck. The cab was very rusty, and I found a fire truck 60-62 that is almost perfect.
I have the 60-62 cab sitting above the 63 frame, and it looks like the holes on the 60-62 cab are farther apart than the 63 frame. I have read on here that I could drill my holes closer together on the floor of the 63.....or???
If I had a set of frame mounts off a 60-62 frame, could I just use them? Would they bolt to the 63 frame with the same holes? I know where a 60-62 frame is sitting and the mount looks like it might work, but just wondering if anyone has experience with this?
Thanks
