Re: Factory 1970 radiator with what upper and lower hoses?

I used the hoses that were on the 2006 engine, upper fit perfect, and I had to trim a little off the lower hose. The radiator in my 85 is dimensionally the same as the one in my 68 and 70.

Re: Factory 1970 radiator with what upper and lower hoses?

I dont know the 70 radiator but the stock v8 rad in my 65 wasn't working with the 02 stock hoses because the radiator has like 1.75" connections and the LS has 1.4". I could be off on my guess-timation's of the hose connections but not much.

Re: Factory 1970 radiator with what upper and lower hoses?

I used the 99+ upper and lower and my truck originally has a/c. The upper and lower hoses were a PITA to get to stretch on the radiator. Must be that the a/c rad. is a larger diameter. Anyone know the diameter of a a/c versus non a/c rad?
