Sounds good to me. Scroll up a bit and you'll see the blue carpet. I could always change out the door panels or whatever. I think I'll do that, parchment panels and seat with blue inserts in seat. Awesome, cant wait.

I really like Zoomin's combination with parchment door panels and seat vinyl. The good thing about this is it can be changed if your not happy. I am thinking about doing parchment on my 72 with the door panels and seat. My interior is ochre and black but the exterior is ochre and white. The black has always bothered me a little but it is factory stock.
I am sure what ever you decide, It is going to look awesome. |

well I ordered my parchment vinyl and blue houndstooth seat cover. Gonna soon order some parchment door panels. I got a nice blue headliner from a board member. Be patient guys, Im a fireman. I have to chip away at this thing. My polished 20" C57 Coys are ordered too. We'll see how long that takes...They are sending the fronts now, backs are supposed to be sometime in May.

I was counting on you - I'm going to need panels at some point. I used the panels from one of my other trucks to finish Tom. Those were originals I bought from a board member a couple years ago.

lol, I was hoping you had some or had a lead on a pair. I hear that guys are happy with the re-pops from classic parts. I've been thinking about that. That is being scared to drive it after all the hard work. I think I'll be fine driving it but definately wont leave it parked unattended. Too easy to swipe these old trucks...

Do they get stolen, of course they do but not as often as you might think. I wouldn't spend alot of time thinking about it, an proper electrical security measure will be more than enough to stop most criminals. |

Just make sure you have the proper insurance coverage. If it does get stolen, that's a bad time to learn you didn't have enough on it.

My brother and I got the windshield in today. My trim was beat up pretty bad so I pulled a near perfect set out of a truck at the junkyard. I have another nice front and back set out of a 72super too. Used that trim and a precision gasket. It went right in, once that secondary lip comes inside the pinch weld it sets in there real nice...

Yes new glass, I think it was a "key parts". It came from southern Kentucky classics if you want to check with them. I got the bed from them and they were offering a shipping incentive so I got the glass from them too. Saved a good bit on shipping that way at the time. I think the key is using stock trim and a precision gasket. Watch the video on youtube that precision posted about these windshields. It is very useful...

I drove her about 10 miles or so today, up to around 60-65. Drove good with no vibrations that I could feel. (passenger side window not in) I had to sit on a milk crate since seat cover is'nt in yet but she sure did run good and smooth.

Looking good Bryan. I'll bet it felt like 70-75 mph sitting on the milk crate. I remember driving to work and back (10 miles each way) sitting on a milk crate waiting for my seat. That was a long time ago and very crazy.
It must have felt really good to drive it for the first time. |
