Smile Upper trim Molding.

Hi folks. I have a question about the upper trim on a long bed C10. I ordered a complete set of the upper trim from Mark-K. The pieces for the long bed are two pieces spliced together. My question is, was that the way it is suppose to be made or should it be one piece? It seems a little Micky Mouse to me for the price and don't get me going on the difference living in Canada. Thanks in advance. Have a good one eh and stay safe.

Originals are that way too. Last 6 inches is a separate piece.

Relief I will sleep tonight. Thanks for the reply I wanted to hear. I don't think a person buying a Cadillac would accept their trim that way but we are dealing with a work truck. Grin and bear it eh. Thanks again.

When did you order yours? I ordered upper and lower back beginning of April through summit and estimated ship date is June 1st.

Re: Upper trim Molding.

I ordered Mar. 1st. rec Apr. 26th. It was well packed with a board inside the tube for stiffness but good old UPS left their mark and I had a dent in both long bed upper pieces as well as bent. I'm in contact with Mar-K as I type. I don't know about the lower trim but the upper is awesome. The damage is not their fault and up here we have a problem with shipping arriving damaged a lot. Check you packages carefully as it's frustrating and slows the progress of your project. Have a good day and stay safe eh!

Thanks. I ordered mar 16, I think it was already back ordered. I believe mine is coming via FedEx. It’s coming to Hawaii. I know they pack the trim very well. I currently have trim but replacing mine so when I cut and buff the truck it will look great.

Re: Upper trim Molding.

You have the better carrier in my opinion. I have at least 75 orders without a problem with them. I don't think the other carrier could hit the island for a safe landing of your parts Ha. Also they seem slower and antiquated in their tracking system. It would be nice if they would spend some money on their trucks.
