2.5/4 is a very good drop IMO you still have some rake though if thats what you want, to get 2.5/4 you use front drop spindles (230 from GMCpauls) and rear drop springs 115 from gmcpauls

Is there another alternative to level out the rear like a 41/2 or something to match the 2.5?

If you want to use the the original springs go ahead, but if your springs are really old it might be a good idea to but in new springs in and there only about $115. Not a bad upgrade.

If you get the panhard kit from early classic (the one that goes from the trailing arm to the frame) it adds about 1/4 inch due to the spacer, i also did a 9" in it also and that added 1/4 inch or so from the axle tubes being larger, it got rid of the slight rake. 255/60/15 front, 275/60/15 back. 2.5 spindle, 4" spring
i think a 5" spring might be too much
