What shocks with bagged trucks?
You guys with bagged trucks , what kind of shocks are you using ?
Right now I have kyb's with a 5/7 drop but want to bag my truck for better ride quality and lose a few more inches. Should I keep the kyb or replace em? Thanks |

The place you got the bags should be able to tell you. We did same. My son got all the goodies together. Where ever he got the system had the shocks with the setup

I want know personal preference , of course the place I buy from is going to want to sell me shocks .

I bagged mine and used the same shocks that have been on the truck since 1986
No issues at all

if you are running twin tube design , you can upgrade to a mono tube design ,but your air ride should have been matched with a mono tube style shock or recommended by the air ride company .

I have a stock height fully bagged truck. Two kyb completely failed on me blowing oil all over the floor before the truck even hit the street. Put basic monroes on and they now have 30,000 miles on them without issue.

I'm running kyb and like them. On the other hand, I know no difference. I haven't ran another shock.
