Cool Spotted!

Spotted this in a drive way on the way to the local gun store. Needed some .40 & .380 cal ammo.
Nice looking truck. I saw it on the road about a month ago and wondered where it lived. Hadn't seen it before and live less than 5 miles from me.I asked at the gun store if they knew him and it was his brother-in-laws truck. I left him a buisness card and ask for him to call me.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

From a distance it does look sweet. An anniversary truck?

Talking Re: Spotted!

The truck is nice and it looks to be a real annversary truck. It has the tool box on it also. I just want to get up close to it and talk to him about the site, not to buy it.

It's a new store just open about 4 month's ago. I got 2 boxes of .40 and 1 box of .380. Going back Tuesday and get more. He had 6 more boxes of .40 and he was closing when I left for the weekend.

Re: Spotted!

Very nice truck. How are you guys getting ammo.? I live in Alaska and I haven't been able to buy .380 in weeks! Maybe guys up here are just hoarding more of it? Anyway good luck with the truck.

Ol Blue K20...That's why I left Cali. My next door neighbor is a Alaska State Trooper and we shoot crap on the property all the time. They know better than to step on Alaskans property.

As I stated before I saw the truck about a month ago on the road. Just didn't have time to follow him. Pretty sure it's the same truck.

There's a factory toolbox built into the passenger side of some trucks.A rarelyfound in good shape option.

Re: Spotted!

I know about the optional bed-side toolbox,, My orange C20 has one,, and yes,, rare to find the door in good shape. They were a very poor design with no drain holes. I did not know that Andy 4639 was local to the truck and had viewed the truck from the right hand side, I was going off of the pictures originally posted.

Cool Re: Spotted!

The truck looks very nice from the road but I would like to see it up close if possible and just meet the guy. See what he has to say and see if he would join here also. If he built the truck himself are if he bought it like it is. There is a 67 LWB sitting out behind the trailer at a shop building I also would like to see.

I hope to buy some more ammo Tuesday. I just got my .40 Taurus and the wife a .380 Taurus so I need to stock up on it. I love the guns. Here is a thread I have in general on the guns.
