Talking Idea To help Josh who has paypal?

Just wondering if someone who has paypal would be willing to take a money order from those that don't, and them place the money in there paypal the send to josh. I do not know the urgency of the payments needed

I don't think the need is that urgent. Josh said he would have the address for money orders by this Friday (8/23). I'd say wait. I have PayPal, but I'm sure not willing to take on the responsibility of having people I don't even know send me money to pass along to someone else - talk about a potential nightmare.

Yeah, it's good intentions but I would not recomend doing that. If Josh ever got audited by the IRS and the income he gets from the board came into question whoever funneled funds from other members to him may also come into question and would have to show proof that the $ they recieved as payments are all accounted for. Too much personal liability.

Just take your time. Josh will understand. It's a donation afterall.

As a financial advisor (my day job) I wouldn't recommend anything that looks suspicious. With "G.W's" new anti-money laundering act, it would be unadvisable to try this type of transaction - even if it is for a good cause. Wait for the address & send your $ direct.
