1972 C10 Cheyenne SWB Build
Well under way for this build of a 1972 c10 Cheyenne Super SWB:
Frame and rear end are powder coated. Using this thread to post pics of progress of restoration. Soda Blasting the cab this week. |

Going to paint this truck Tasco Turquoise and White. Here is a test sample of the colors. I already have a Red and White truck...figured I would paint a truck this color, found it off the 1960 Corvette colors.

I have several transmissions, which one do you need ?
I build the 700r4's without the electrical requirements. No need for external wiring for the TCC lock up. It works great in town driving where the TCC is not engaging/disengaging all the time when folks use the external vac. switch but you need the correct valve body....

I just recently learned the electronic lockup wasnt a requirement.
On my 69 I bought the TV kit from bowtie overdrive, followed the instructions (I think) but was burned up by my teenagers , replaced with a craigslist $200 find and same result. My son's in the Marine corps so it's in storage now.So if you could build a 700R4 without the electronic gobbledygook and send it this way that would be great man!  Time to say goodbye to my 3OTT in the 72.
