k20 rear parking cable backing plate bolts
looking for some info on installing rear parking cables on a 1969 k20, the cables bolt to the backing plate. can someone tell me if the clam shell bracket at the backing plate go one each side of the backing plate or do both stack together on the outside of the backing plate?

They stack together held by a 5/16 fine thread bolt about 1/2'' long
