Cool Northbound road trip!

I'm getting kinda excited, I have been itchin for a road trip all summer.
Friday morning I'm heading out to pick up a scrap engine with a tranny hooked to it from a memeber of another board. Really looking forward to meeting him and checking out his fleet. From the background in the pictures, looks impressive.
Never been to Michigan either...cool, another shot glass for my collection. I try to get one every time I go out of state, I even have one for when i was in Korea...cool huh?
Of course, this is all asuming I don't get a blow out doing 100 MPH or something...but, we don't do that kind of speeds now do we?
I even waxed the 'ole turd last night too...who knows, it might help with the MPG! (that's ok, the wife didn't buy it either)

Bummer she started running on 7 cylinders as of this morning though huh?

if she's running on 7 shouldn't you be out there tryin to figure out why instead of in here talkin to us, not that we don't enjoy your company, but we can't have one of our trucks runnin like crap, it might give us a bad name......so go get your brill and bra saw and go to work. it's a chevy it can't be anything tragic they'll run forever..

Hey Longhorn glade to here you made it back home. Sorry to here about the VW passing you bye, LOL. Hey sorry you could not stay longer, we could have some fun you and I. I will save the Longhorn bed for you, It will be stored up in the loft in two weeks or so, If you want it soon that's fine other wise it will be here in the barn. I have plenty of room to store it once I get the lift put in, so if you don't need it right away it will be here safe and sound. (unless I drop it off the lift on the way up) then I guess I own it.

Geeeeeeze, i gotta lose some weight.
Sounds like a plan on the bed, it would be quicker/cheaper than going to Tx, and it is a much better bed thatn my old one..just doesn't have pretty paint on it.
Dunno when, but I am interested.
