WTB: '82 to '95 S10 T-5 Tailshaft - 2WD

Looking for a good, reasonably priced, tailshaft for a 1982 to 1995 S10 T-5 5 Speed transmission 2WD. May be interested in entire transmission if available too. If you have anything available please send me an email or PM.

Thanks,
Chad

What year is the truck? The tailshafts are different for the years that used speedo cables vs the years that used electric speedo's. I used a T-5 out of an 89 S-10(electric speedo) in my 84 S-10 but had to change the tailshaft housing to the earlier style. I still have the tailshaft housing off the 89 T-5. It is in very good/clean condition. I can take some photos but it would be later this week or the first part of next week before I could post them. I would like to get $50 (plus shipping). That is what I paid for the other tailshaft housing from a tranny shop. I will have to check but I think the housing I have also has a new bushing and seal installed.

It really doesn't matter on year or speedo. What I am putting it in is actually a '30 Model A. I have a Camaro 5spd (Pre '89) and the shifter location is to far back. The S10 fits better. It is my understanding that the tailshafts bolt up the same '82 to '95. If you could take a couple of pictures and post them or send me an email that would be great.

I will do some additional checking to make sure it will work. Assuming that it will, I will definitely take it. My zip code is 98205 if you want to check on shipping charges.

Thanks.
