E-Brake question?

I've just ordered a set of aftermarket trailing arms. Only the left hand has the tab that holds the cable in place. Does anyone know if this was ever done from the factory? Only one tab to hold the cable? Told the supplier that this was wrong. His supplier stated that that is how it's done on some models, so that is how they reproduce them. I guess trying to save a few cents. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
