You will need to find a set of clutch pedals. Does your transmission have a hydraulic or manual release bearing.

Many people have switched over, I have a 6-speed in my C10.

Re: 1985 auto to 5 speed

Get a manual transmission pedal set for the 85-91 squarebodies. They had hydraulic clutches.

Re: 1985 auto to 5 speed

I put a NV4500 in my 85 K20 a year ago. Best mod I ever did. I can tell you everything you need to know about it. I also have 3 pedal assemblies if you're interested.

What engine do you have in front of that nv4500? SBC, BBC, 6.2-diesel, LS, or something else?

Do you have any cross-over pipe at all in the exhaust? Or is it true-duals all the way out the back?

I assume you used the np208 t-case? Were there any conflicts between the trans and t-case shifters?

Kipps,

Vortec 350
True duals ( for now). Just received my Hooker cast iron manifolds, so the exhaust is going to change.
Both the stock 208 and late model 205 bolt in without issue. I used an ORD, floor mount twin stick for the 205.

What part number did you get for the Hooker manifolds on the Vortec 350?
