Door Pockets ?
Has anyone come up with any slick way to do a door pocket on these trucks? I've had the seat reupholstered in a factory fashion, and am going to do the doors in a factory style that doesnt depart from stock very much, and I have a 84 with door pocket bags, and was curious if anyone has done anything that comes out looking sort of factory?

Re: Door Pockets ?
I haven't gotten that far yet but I was toying with the idea of some kind of small door pocket when I do my interior. My buddy and next door neighbor is an upholstery guy....he will be doing a full custom interior for me.

Re: Door Pockets ?
I used black webbing to add pockets to the back of this seat I built for GR8-68 a while back . Ask the shop that built the seat for you . I used para cord to match the army theme color of his truck , Pockets are a great idea with the limited space in these cabs . He wanted the bucket look and consol but still be able to have space of a bench seat

Re: Door Pockets ?
I've used late-70s GM Truck door pouches.

Re: Door Pockets ?
I saw a pair of NOS GM accessory door pockets for these trucks at a swap meet years ago, sure wish I had grabbed them.

I'm hoping that my buddy can integrate these into my custom door panels so that they aren't just "screwed on".....for $50 it's worth a shot...

Re: Door Pockets ?
Just got these in today....walked over to my buddy's upholstery shop to see what he thought about integrating them into the custom door panels...
In his words it will be "a piece of cake"....I like cake...
