Help: 67 Burb w/L83 cruise control

67 suburban with 2015 L83 engine, stock ecu, 2002 4L60 trans w/TCI EZ-TCU controller. Dakota Digital cruise control. Not able to get the cruise control to work without surging/hunting
DD has suggested setting the long term and short tern fuel trim temps to 50* and lowering the sensitivity in the throttle pedal. Neither has cured the surge problem. CC works thru the ecu except it picks up speed signal from EZ-TCU.
Set at 60mph it slowly drops off to around 57 then unlocks converter and accelerates to about 64, then slowly drops back off. Each surge cycle lasts about 20-30 seconds

Anyone have any suggestions?

I will move this to the LSx Swaps forum. I think you will get more responses there....
