Okay, I bought this last fall and have been keeping it under wraps but this is great thread to introduce the truck to everyone. This truck is a 1970 CST20 unmolested but well used Longhorn in original purple. I bought it 400 miles from home jumped in it and drove it home. I apologize for the crappie pics but its in the snow behind my home.

The Fronts are 235/70/16... The rears are 295/65/16...

Rocinante is actually a C25 with a Chevy grill that came off a parts truck I bought a million years ago. I think I need to go back to the 4 eyes...
The wheels on her in the picture are 16.5" but I just bought a set of 16" AR23s I plan to run LT265/75R16s. I have a feeling it won't help the no power steering out much but oh well, I do more pushups. I use mine for military moves so heavy hauls over long distances are not unusual and I am constantly tinkering with it. I can help a little when 3/4 and 1 ton advice gets a little thin which it does.

You are right about the tire and wheel selection being slim. Will have to replace tires this year and might bite the bullet and switch to 16". On the positive side a C20 has the Dana 60 rearend.

Mine. I have since removed that crummy deflector. The rain gutter is to divert water when it rains, since the boot leaks. Gotta get a new shell one of these days.

My 67' C20 with a 68' bed. Still has the lock ring wheels for now. I will be switching to some Ford Econoline wheels soon with the original hubcaps.

Original interior with carpet added. Still likes to pull a load..... Came with a 2 barrel carb but was changed to a quadrajet years ago.

very nice! keep 'em coming. Mine's buried in 2' of snow right now, so nothing is getting done to it for a bit.
