67 Vermillion Red CST Build

Here are some pictures of my truck. I picked this up a year and a half ago and I am starting to make some progress.
My goal is a nice reliable driver. Also, I wanted something to do with my twin boys that would give them some mechanical knowledge and ability.
I am going to put a modern LS engine in it mainly for reliability and also because it is really inexpensive power.
I purchased a wrecked 2006 GMC Denali pickup with 96000 miles on it for $2000, parted it out and sold $1850 dollars worth of parts. I kept the engine, (LQ9 6.0L) 4L65E trans, gas pedal, computer and all the wiring, exhaust etc. So I am into it $150.00. That is why I say inexpensive.
The truck is pretty solid. The floors and cab mounts are really nice. It does have rusted rockers, and the cowl in rusted through.
