RPO Cargo Lamp Question.

My 72 C10 has a rear cargo light with an on-off switch under the interior dome light and my RPO Code is UF2. Came across a spid, no truck pics, and there was an RPO Code C80 which said Dome Light Switch. What does this one turn off and on? Is this the same switch as under the interior dome light or in another spot.

I interpret this as, it's a non-Cheyenne/Super trim thus it is equipped with the optional "rear cargo light". The "dome light switch" is not related to the cargo light, but the interior light so you can turn on/off the interior light when the doors are closed. Mind me, I have never owned a non-Cheyenne level truck.

Re: RPO Cargo Lamp Question.

The switch for a 'Non-Cheyenne'' [or Standard] trim level truck is the rheostat on the Headlight switch. Turn it all the way Bright, and the dome [and/or courtesy] lights come on.
