Load Capacity Guide book

I picked up this book a while back, never seen one or heard of it before, some of the info is useless as trucks have been changed from stock form but there is some good info regarding wheels and the ID codes and how to identify them. There is also detail about how tire pressure effects GVWR and how different combinations of wheel/tire combos can increase vehicle load capacity given a certain front/rear spring combination.

Re: Load Capacity Guide book

I couldn't find a publish date on any of the pages but since it includes 1969 models the cover artwork is interesting- note the turn signal location. Figured by then they would have used more a production representative image.

Not all pages are numbered but I'd guess just over 100 pages in total.

Oh yeah. I missed the lack of headlights. And the grille is a '68 Chevy's but with an extra vertical crossbar and no Bowtie.
Must've been published on the graphics dept's day off.

I don't think my boss would let me get away with that.

Re: Load Capacity Guide book

Maybe it got a free pass since it was for dealer use only and not a sales and marketing book.
