Tire size recommendation

I picked this 70’ C10 up off a friend of mine last year. It’s not really what I usually seek out but, there is a lot of sentimental value in it between the two of us. Just finished my Blazer so getting around to giving it a little love. I think eventually it will find itself sitting in a K10 or K20 chassis. In the meantime I’m just doing some basic maintenance items. Rebuilding the entire brake system and powder coating the stock steel wheels. It currently has 31x10.50 tires on it and was curious what you guys think would fit best and fill out the wheel wells. I like more of a tall skinny tire.

Re: Tire size recommendation

I just installed 265/75/15 on the front and run 31x10.5’s on the back. Its 2wd. Sits nice.

255 70 15 and good tire for stock height. Pretty much a 29 10.0 tire.

235/85/R16 is what I went to when I couldn't replace 17.5x5.25 factory 6 lug rims and 8R-17.5LTs

Re: Tire size recommendation

I went an inch skinnier in height and width than yours. I went to a Firestone Destination XT in 30x9.5R15 it looks taller and skinnier in person than in the pics. Tried to give you a few different angles. Fills up the wheel well nicely! Much better than the 225/75R15s it had on it shown in the last picture. They looked like car tires put on a truck.
